Interviews can be recorded and played back for training purpose

TweetDeck for iPhone allows students to submit on-the-spot reports from events they have attended. Try having them answer a question in 90 seconds and ask them to tweet their observations to their classmates
iPhone extra credit – Have students attend a campus lecture or event and require them to tweet video of their on-the-spot reactions using their iPhones. They can download the mobile application here: http://tweetdeck.com/iphone

Labs – record the lab procedures for your students to watch before coming to lab sessions

Mistakes – Here’s “Seven That Teachers Make.” Consider using social media tools (like Twitter) for students to take notes or relate the material to outside sources if you are teaching in a computer lab. Asking students to produce 10 “tweets” during the video and that they discuss their comments with peers can be a good way to show they are watching the video. You can even join their conversation.
